President Sandy DupleichDynamic Language
Board Term: Third
As a Vice President of Dynamic Language in Seattle Washington, Sandy Dupleich has accumulated more than 24 years of experience in the language service industry. Dynamic is a language services provider specializing in translation, localization, desktop publishing, and interpreting services. Sandy has previously served as Chair of the ALC Membership Committee and has served two terms on the Board of Directors as Secretary and more recently as Vice President of the ALC. Dynamic Language is a Charter member of the ALC and Sandy has been enthusiastically committed to ALC's growth and success since the first annual conference in Portland. She currently serves as Chair for the Northwest Minority Supplier Development Council's MBEIC (Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee) which supports educational and business opportunities for Minority-owned businesses in the Pacific Northwest. Craig Buckstein joined the Geneva Worldwide team in 1998 and is the current Chief Operating Officer and Partner of the company. Geneva Worldwide is a full service, language service provider, specializing in interpreting and translation for Government and Private industries. Under Craig's leadership, Geneva has experienced continued double digit growth and is proud to be listed on Inc. Magazines, INC 5000, list of the fastest growing companies in the US for the second year in a row. The company is a third generation; family owned business and is the oldest business of its kind, founded in 1903.Craig has over a decade of experience within the language service industry and currently serves as the Secretary of the Association of Language Companies. He has volunteered on many committees during his tenure with the ALC, including Membership, Norms & Best Practices, CEO Roundtable and the Conference committee. Craig chaired the 5th annual ALC conference in Providence, RI. He has been a director for the past 4 years and is currently finishing his second term. Craig is certified with the National Association of Government Contractors.
Craig graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Communication & Rhetorical Theory. He later earned his MBA in Strategic Planning/Management from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch.
Treasurer Camilo Muñoz

Camilo Muñoz is the founder and CEO of Translation Source, a leading provider of translation services in the United States. Prior to Translation Source, Camilo worked as an investment banker for Citibank and Lehman Brothers in New York. He was also co-founder of Abiertamente.com, an e-learning distributor of American college-level coursework in Latin America. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School, an MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute (University of Pennsylvania) and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida. Kristin Quinlan was named chief executive officer of Certified Languages International in 2006 after having been the Sales and Marketing Manager for the six previous years. She has been responsible for substantial growth with CLI each year and is instrumental in educating its clients in the most efficient, and cost effective manner of supplying the LEP population with quality interpreting services. Kristin has 22 years of sales and sales management experience. She worked in for Arrow Electronics, the world's largest distributor of electronic components and computer products, and Pioneer Electronics, a Tokyo-based leader in consumer audio and video products. She served on the ALC's Leadership Committee as the chair of the Marketing Committee. Kristin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Oregon.

As President of Schreiber Translations, Inc. (STI), one of the leading language services companies in the U.S., Marla Schulman has over 10 years of management experience in the translation industry. An active charter member of the Association of Language Companies since 2003, and an active ALC leadership committee member since 2005, she served as the association's conference chair in 2005. In addition to her work in the language industry, she is an active board member of the Montgomery County Multiple Sclerosis Center and an active member of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.ALC Directors
Giovanni DonatelliThe Language Group

Giovanni Donatelli (more affectionately known as "Gio") founded The Language Group in 1999. The Language Group is a multilingual services firm in Virginia Beach, VA. Gio joined the ALC in 2006, and immediately immersed himself in doing his share for the industry by joining the ALC Marketing Committee for the San Francisco Conference. After a successful conference, he chaired the Marketing committee for the Austin Conference. Apart from the language industry, Gio is a former member of the Portsmouth Wetlands board. He is also an active supporter of numerous local charities focusing on education and tennis development for inner city youth. A native of Pescara, Italy, Mr. Donatelli is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Finance.Director Elisabete Miranda

Elisabete Miranda, owner of Translation Plus, Inc., a multicultural communications company and charter member of ALC, has been with the association from its start. Active in the translation, localization, and interpreting industry, Elisabete has served on multiple Boards and Committees. Most recently, she was elected as Director for the Association of Language Company (ALC) Board of Directors. Previously, she served as the ALC’s Chair of the Public Relations Committee. An expert in multicultural and multilingual communications, Elisabete has acted as a cultural consultant to healthcare projects targeting various ethnic communities in the U.S. and has written articles and an industry white paper on the subject. Elisabete attended business school in Brazil and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a double major in International Business and Management from Montclair State University. She recently completed a Hispanic Marketing Communication Course from Florida State University.David Smith

David Smith began his venture into the realm of multilingual communications almost 20 years ago, driven by his love for languages. Fluent in Russian, Smith has worked extensively in both the United States and Europe. An entrepreneur at heart, Smith parlayed his passion for linguistics into establishing what has become LinguaLinx — one of the fastest-growing language service providers in the industry.After receiving his B.A. in Russian Language from the University at Albany, State University of New York in 1990, Smith went on to own and operate DMS Language Services in Albany while completing his graduate studies. A Russian translation firm, DMS served the multilingual needs of the academic and judicial communities. Smith earned an M.A. in Russian Language & Literature (1994), as well as an M.A. in Translation (1995) from the University at Albany, State University of New York.

Doug Strock is the Vice President of Global Language Translations and Consulting, Inc. In charge of marketing and IT support, he has helped grow the company and provide direction for new services. Prior to joining GLTaC, Doug worked as a global project leader at the Dow Corning Corporation. In addition Doug has served in the Army for 28 years in a wide variety of assignments, including a tour in Iraq during OIF.
